Babies’ Lives Saved in Malawi
Baby Hanisha and baby Timothy were in desperate need of help, and the Chikondi Home in Malawi provided just that! When Timothy was just 11 months old, his mother was admitted to a mental facility. Without proper care, Timothy contracted malaria and pneumonia. He needed physical, emotional, and spiritual care.
Baby Hanisha experienced similar trauma. She lost her mother when she was just 9 months old. She and 6 other children lived with her grandmother who only made 50 cents a day, leaving all of them undernourished. Hanisha had little hope of growing up to be strong and healthy.
God had other plans for these sweet babies! The Chikondi Home in Malawi (part of the the Passion Center For Children in Malawi) took both Timothy and Hanisha into their Infant Rescue Program. Now both children receive medical care, food, shelter, and will hear the gospel of Jesus Christ! Hanisha’s grandmother is also receiving spiritual and emotional support.
