Two New Believers in Honduras
Join us as we praise God for our new brother and sister in Christ, Wilson and Deisy Jaqueline! This family desperately needed a bathroom and pila (water well). After waiting 4 years for the local government to help, they had lost all hope. Their marriage was struggling, their 13 year old daughter Jenifer suffers with eye problems, and their 9 year old son Mainor was hit by a motorcycle while outside playing. Dealing with these hardships made it difficult to care for their 3 year old and 1 year old, as well. The local church in their village heard about their situation and quickly stepped in to help.
Volunteers from the church have been helping Mainor with his recovery, and they are also bringing him to Bible study regularly. Pastor Angel and Pastor Carlos from the church, reached out to HOPE Coffee about the Jaqueline’s situation, and now, because you chose HOPE Coffee, this family has a new bathroom and pila!
After hearing the gospel and seeing the local church show the love of Christ, Deisy Jaqueline and Wilson trusted in Jesus Christ as their Savior! Our local ministry leader in Honduras, Abelardo, told HOPE Coffee that Deisy “expressed deep gratitude, with tears in her eyes, because she now has hope in Christ Jesus.”
