10 Years.
The Old Testament has many references to the word Shiloh. Perhaps the most common refers to the land God provided to the Israelites where the Ark of the Covenant – God’s very presence – could dwell among them. Many believe that Shiloh can be referred to as “A Place of Peace.”
It has been 10 full years since HOPE Coffee began with a brainstorming session on a whiteboard in Siguatepeque, Honduras. While not every year has been easy, God has carried us through them all. For several years now, we have known we would need to move our offices. We’ve been asking God for years to direct us and provide for us. It should have been no surprise that He did indeed provide. The name of the street where God led us? Shiloh Road.
HOPE Coffee’s ministry has never been stronger than it is today. We have grown to three countries each with their own richly-flavored coffee beans, life-changing ministry and National Ministry Leader. This year we want to celebrate all that God has done for the past 10 years with a brand new coffee: Shiloh Roast.
Shiloh is a celebration of the renewed peace that He has given to us this year, and of 10 years of ministry to families throughout Honduras, Mexico and Guatemala. Each of the mountains you see on the label represents one of these countries. This is where the coffee beans were grown, and where seeds of ministry were sown. Each location is a vital part of the flavor of this roast, just as each is a vital part of our ministry.
We hope that as you sip this new, delicious coffee you will reflect not only on the peace God has provided to HOPE Coffee and the families we minister to, but also the peace He provides you in your life, your families and your ministries through your trust in Jesus Christ – God’s son!

Looking for a bright, nutty light roast? Maybe a deep, rich dark roast? No matter what flavor profile you prefer, you’re sure to find just the right roast!
You will enjoy the bright and smooth flavor as the complex notes bring out the nutty and citrus crisp light finish. These bourbon varietals have been harvested from small family farms located in Chiapas, Mexico.
The rich, bold flavor of this Guatemalan coffee creates a nutty taste that is remarkable and soothing. Almost light enough to qualify as a light roast itself, this Guatemalan coffee comes from the Leivas’ family farm.
Pleasantly smooth, medium bodied with a clean finish. The nutty, light-medium body with medium acidity will leave you with flavors of nuts, biscotti, apple, apricot, raspberry, raisins, blueberry. Grown on the Padilla and Doblado family farms in the Siguatepeque region of Honduras.
Sweet and crisp medium body with mild acidity and hint of cocoa. There is a lingering sweet finish that will leave you with thoughts of butter, oatmeal, maple, caramelized sugar and chocolate. Grown on the Padilla and Doblado family farms in the Siguatepeque region of Honduras.
Our darkest roast features an elegant balance of flavor in a high-altitude Honduran coffee with a smooth finish. Enjoy its soft acidity and pleasant full flavors of leather, tobacco and smokiness. Grown on the Padilla and Doblado family farms in the Siguatepeque region of Honduras.
A high-quality, full-flavored, Guatemalan coffee roast, minus the caffeine. Medium roasted with medium acidity, it is perfect for coffee drinkers who enjoy a good cup of coffee but not the caffeine!
This blend of Honduran SHG and South American coffee beans delivers a smooth and rich flavor profile. This espresso roast was created by an award winning local Dallas artisan roaster for the purpose of highlighting our Honduran coffee beans while bringing out the unique profiles that it can create in an espresso based drink.

Santa Bárbara, Honduras—During every coffee picking season, 22-year-old Lidia can be found working in Teosintal, a coffee farming region in the mountains of Western Honduras. After tragically losing her father when she was a child, Lidia had no choice but to drop out of the fourth grade and begin working to help provide for her family.
She had just finished a long day in the fields when an unfamiliar truck drove up. She assumed it was one of the trucks that routinely came to Teosintal during picking season—driven by people who take advantage of the pickers by over-charging to transport their coffee. But driving this truck was the HOPE Coffee National Ministry Leader Pastor Carlos, his wife, and a local pastor named Sergio. Not only did they come to help fairly transport the coffee, but also came bearing gifts—a truckload of groceries and the gospel message.
At first, Lidia and the other coffee pickers were confused by what was happening. They had never experienced someone giving without expecting anything in return. But soon, smiles worked their way onto each of the 22 coffee pickers’ faces as they realized the groceries were for them!
After the food distribution, every one of the coffee pickers stayed to hear Pastor Carlos share the gospel message. Lidia and her mother were especially attentive and were among the people who decided to stay after the message for a time of prayer.
